Justin got everything Shaneyia wanted. She wanted a Tinkerbell themed party, so everything was just that. The colors were light purple and green. Shaneyia was so perked up when she saw all the Tinkerbell items. They were up early setting up for the party at the park. It was around nine on a Saturday morning. Justin was hanging up the purple, green, and yellow balloons and streamers hanging from each side. Sharise was putting the yellow tablecloths on the picnic tables with Tinkerbell confetti. They hung up a banner that said: “Happy Fourth Birthday Shaneyia!” The cake was terrific for a four year old and it was picked out by Justin and Shaneyia. It was Tinkerbell sitting inside a bubble with flowers around her and when it turned on, its motion and sound sensor set off music lights and her wings fluttered. She had so much stuff and everything was perfect for her. The food was even being taken care of by some of his people he invited. They had burgers and hotdogs on the grill, plenty of liquor, and drinks. They were expecting everyone to show up since no one had to help out with anything except bringing their children and themselves.

“I think we got everything, Justin.” Sharise said after she finished putting like ten gifts on the table for Shaneyia. She was going to have a lot of stuff to play with by the end of the party.

“Yeah, but if we forgot anything I’ll just run back to the store.” Justin said.

He had on some black True Religion jeans and a red True Religion shirt with some red and white Adidas. Sharise couldn’t help but stare, because he was so fresh and looked good. He had a box haircut and was smelling good, too. A brown skin complexion fit him to the tee and he was 5’8 and muscular. His eyes were small and he had the prettiest white smile. Justin saw how she was choosing, but he wasn’t interested. At 20, you would think his mind would be elsewhere, but he was very intelligent.

Sharise turned on the radio and “Rumor Has It” by Adele was on. She didn’t really get dolled up, but was planning to once she got a chance to go to the house. When eleven o’ clock finally came, she was more than happy. She went to the house and showered and put on a purple dress with some yellow sandals. She had rollers in her hair from perming it the other night. She took them out and let the curls drop. She brushed her teeth and washed her face then walked back outside. Everyone was showing up; from her dad Jarvis, Nia, and a list of cousins. Everything was going good. Ian had walked down with Shaneyia who had on a Tinkerbell costume.

“You are so pretty looking like a princess,” Qua said as she gave Shaneyia a hug.

“Qua! I miss you!” Shaneyia exclaimed, excited to see her cousin.

“I miss you, too!” Qua said picking her up.
